March Volunteer Challenge (MVC) is a yearly challenge to encourage people to get involved in the community, bring awareness to non- profit organization in the community and to provide assistance to the community. Each Saturday in the month of March, we will organize a volunteer project with a non-profit organization in the Charlotte community that will last a minimum of two (2) hours. We ask that each person complete the MVC pledge and get to work!! You can register a team to volunteer or as an individual! Each team and/or individual will be entered for a raffle to win a dinner to Panera Bread!!!
*** To qualify for raffle, must attend all 4 volunteer projects, submit MVC pledge and be present during the drawing**
Volunteer Schedule
March 5th- Habitat for Humanity 8am-11:am- 3025 Walter Street Charlotte NC- Interior paint for home
March 12th- Promising Pages 9:30am-11pm- Promising Pages is located inside the warehouse for Carolina Business Interiors ACROSS the street from 204 East Peterson Drive Charlotte, NC 28217. The warehouse is a big white building and you will see the CBI box trucks and vans in the parking lot. Feel free to park anywhere in that lot
March 19th- Hope Cancer 10am- 2pm 4329 Ashley Circle Charlotte NC- prep and deliver meals to Hope Cancer patient and make Easter Cards
March 29th- Samaritan House 12-2pm 611 Fortune St Charlotte NC - Prepare and serve lunch for tenants
